Winter Storm Aftermath: Water Bill Relief

See All Posts

Residents who were affected by the freeze caused by the February 2021 winter storm event may be interested in measures being taken by the Board of Directors for Ricewood MUD to provide relief to those affected.

District residents may now apply for adjustments to their water bills if they experienced busted pipes or other water leaks as a result of the freeze.

Residents who wish to learn if they are eligible for a water bill adjustment, and to request relief, should follow the instructions below:

  1. Send an email to Inframark (mudcustomerservice@inframark.com) to submit a written request for a bill adjustment
  2. Include a description of the leak, the date the leak occurred, and the location and severity of the leak
  3. Attach pictures or other evidence of the leak
  4. Attach an invoice from a plumber or other evidence that the leak has been repaired

Ricewood MUD cares about all of its residents and hopes that this effort may provide at least some small measure of assistance to those residents negatively impacted by the freeze. For questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out via the District’s Contact Us page.
